A flexible photo collage maker

Layouts matched to your photo count

After you add photos, the editor shows a short set of visual templates designed for that number of images.

Control the finished composition

Select any photo to replace or remove it, drag its crop, zoom or rotate it, and reorder thumbnails. Then adjust spacing, corners, background, canvas shape, title, and format.

Private, on-device processing

All selected photos, the live preview, and the final collage stay on your device without an ImageNow server upload.

How it works

  1. Choose or drop up to 12 JPG, PNG, or WebP images.
  2. Choose one of the visual layouts suggested for your number of photos.
  3. Select a photo to replace, remove, crop, zoom, or rotate it, and drag the thumbnails to reorder the collage.
  4. Set the spacing and canvas options, choose PNG, JPG, or WebP, then download.

Choose a collage layout for the story you want to tell

The choices update with the number of photos you add, so two-photo, three-photo, and larger collages each get useful arrangements. Grid templates balance the images, while templates with a large frame make the first photo the focal point. Drag the thumbnails to change both the order and the focal photo.

Fill frames or keep each complete photo visible

Photos start fully visible. Select one to change its fit above the preview, independently of the others. Choosing Fit whole image again resets that photo’s zoom and position. Fill each frame covers every cell without empty space. Select a photo and choose Crop to drag it into position, zoom from 1× to 3×, or rotate it in 90-degree steps. Fit whole image preserves the complete source and fills any remaining cell area with the chosen background color.

Spacing, corners, background, and title

Narrow spacing makes a collage feel continuous, while wider gaps separate each moment. Rounded corners soften the individual frames. Choose a background that complements the photos, and add an optional short title when the collage needs context outside the images themselves.

Pick a shape and a file type

Automatic sizing adapts the canvas to your photos. Horizontal and vertical joins preserve each photo’s proportions. The Canvas tab also offers 16:9, 9:16, and Custom width and height. Square exports at 2000 × 2000 pixels, landscape at 2400 × 1600, and portrait at 1600 × 2400. Before layout, very large sources are scaled down first; decoded sources are limited to 16 megapixels in total. PNG avoids another lossy encoding step, while JPG and WebP produce a smaller file. The collage is rendered as a new file and does not retain source EXIF metadata.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a photo collage online?

Choose several images, select a layout and canvas shape, arrange the photos, adjust spacing and appearance, then choose an output format and download the finished collage.

How many photos can I add?

You can combine up to 12 JPG, PNG, or WebP images, with a 25 MB limit per file. After decoding, all accepted images together are limited to 16 megapixels.

Can I change the order of photos?

Yes. Drag the thumbnails to reorder them, or select a photo and use Move earlier or Move later in the Photos tab. In layouts with a large frame, the first photo is the focal image.

Can I make a collage without cropping photos?

Yes. Photos are shown in full when added. Automatic horizontal and vertical joins retain each photo’s proportions. With a fixed layout, select each photo and choose Fit whole image; unused space takes the background color.

Can I add a title and change the background?

Yes. Add an optional title, choose its color, and select any canvas background color. The preview shows these choices before export.

Which collage size should I use?

Choose Automatic for a horizontal or vertical join. Square, landscape, portrait, 16:9, and 9:16 offer preset compositions. For exact dimensions, choose Custom in the Canvas tab and enter width and height.

Should I download PNG, JPG, or WebP?

Choose PNG to avoid another lossy encoding step, JPG for broadly compatible photo output, or WebP for efficient use in modern browsers and apps. Every format uses the selected canvas background, and the newly rendered file does not retain source EXIF metadata.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Photo decoding, layout, preview, and export all run locally in your browser without sending the selected files to an ImageNow server.
