Decide the pixel size before you export
An SVG has no fixed resolution — it is drawn fresh at whatever size you ask for. That makes the export size the one decision worth making here. Choose Custom width under SVG output size and enter the width you need; the height follows each file’s original proportions, and the vector is rasterised at that size, so the edges stay crisp instead of being a small bitmap stretched up. To convert SVG together with other image formats, use Convert to PNG, which accepts JPG, WebP, HEIC and more in one batch.
The transparent background is preserved
Most icons and logos sit on nothing at all. PNG can hold that, so the areas around your artwork stay transparent and no white rectangle appears behind it. The preview shows a checkerboard wherever the result is see-through.
What a PNG cannot carry over
The PNG is a grid of pixels, so editable paths, layers, text as text, and any scripting or animation inside the SVG are not preserved. Keep the SVG as your master file and treat the PNG as an export for places that will not take vectors.
How to convert SVG to PNG
- Select images or drop your SVG files into the workspace.
- Each file is rasterised automatically at its own width and height.
- Under SVG output size, choose Custom width if you need a specific size.
- Download each PNG, or the whole batch as a ZIP.
SVG to PNG questions
What size will the PNG be?
By default it uses the width, height or viewBox declared in the SVG. Choose Custom width under SVG output size to export at any width you like — the height follows the original proportions.
Will the PNG be blurry if I make it large?
No. The vector is redrawn at the size you ask for rather than a small bitmap being enlarged, so a 2000px export is genuinely sharp at 2000px.
Does the transparent background stay transparent?
Yes. Nothing is painted behind the artwork, and the preview marks transparent areas with a checkerboard.
Can I still edit the result?
Not as vectors. The PNG holds pixels only — no paths, layers or editable text. Keep the SVG for future changes.
Are fonts inside the SVG rendered?
Text is drawn with the fonts available to the browser. If the SVG relies on a font your browser does not have, convert the text to outlines in your editor first so the export matches what you expect.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The SVG is rasterised and encoded in this browser tab, and the ZIP is built here too.
